Jeanneau Sun Fast 3600 wins IRC3 at Caribbean 600 regatta:

Conor Fogarty’s Sun Fast 3600 “Bam” from Howth, Ireland won IRC division 3 at the Caribbean 600 regatta, but the story gets better. He sailed it from Dublin to the Canary Islands and joined the ARC Transatlantic rally to get there! Next he is sailing it single-handed back to the Azores before heading to the UK to take part in the first single-handed Fastnet race, for which there are 46 entries, 8 of them being Sun Fast 3600’s. Then, that is to be followed by the Volvo Round Ireland Race before winding down with the Irish ISORA series two-handed! STOP PRESS: Sun Fast 3200’s have just claimed first and second overall in IRC at the Spi Ouest regatta in France. This event is the season opener in France and a huge event with all of the latest racing yachts taking part. Even more significant is that the winner was the yachts own designer! Well done Daniel Andrieu
