The flagship Jeanneau 57, launched at the Cannes International Show 14 months ago, has now reached a new milestone with hull number #50 completed and being delivered to its owner. World renowned naval architect Philippe Briand set out to create the best production yacht of its size in terms of ease of handling, luxurious liveability, and offshore ability.
This yacht has been extremely well received by customers and the yachting media, and it’s not difficult to understand why. The key element of any successful yacht is looks and that’s something that Briand manages to do with every yacht his office designs, from the smallest production yacht to the many superyachts he has penned, and there is no doubt that this is a beautiful yacht from every angle. Secondly is functionality, whether it’s from the point of view of sailing, entertaining, or spending time on board and again this yacht succeeds magnificently in this regard. The third element is build quality and for this Jeanneau has an enviable reputation and is still the only volume manufacturer with an ISO accredited production facility. The final element is value-for-money and for a yacht of its size and quality there is no doubt that this is the case, proven by the number of proud new owners in 25 Countries in such a short space of time.
