It’s that time of year again when we announce our Rendezvous rally for Jeanneau yacht owners in NSW. Now in its 12th year, these days are a lot of fun and we make a point of having a different type of event and different location every year. This year we’ve decided to bring it back to Pittwater, having been to Newcastle last year and Lake Macquarie the year before, and we’ve timed it so that yachts heading to Sail Port Stephens can use it is a stepping point on the way.
RMYC have kindly offered their facilities for the day, and Club Marine Insurance have generously volunteered to be naming sponsor, though as always we have tremendous support from all of the companies that are involved in supporting Jeanneau in NSW with multiple generous prizes on offer.
Briefing will be at 10am with sailing starting at 11am off the RMYC. We will head out of Pittwater and up the Hawkesbury River for a picnic lunch at Hallets Beach. Then return early afternoon for a function and prize draw at the club starting at 5pm. The executive chef at RMYC has put together an excellent Buffet Pack with lots of variety which will need to be booked in advance at $55 per person. PBS will deliver complimentary buckets of prawns and fresh rolls with hand-churned butter and cocktail sauce courtesy of a local company Prawn Pod, along with complimentary wine for the evening function.
